About Adelard Kakunze
Adelard Kakunze is the Founder and CEO of Burundi 3.0, a social enterprise which uses information and communications technology to solve issues related to unemployment and health. Founded in 2013, Burundi 3.0 has since launched 'mDiab Burundi', a mobile technology platform devised to address diabetes. Adelard, who has a passion for working with youths, graduated from Burundi University's Medical School. He is a One Young World Ambassador, part of the Global Shapers Community, and was recognised as the second under35CEO most enterprising student in Africa in 2013.
