Eating Disorders Awareness Week | 27 February – 5 March

Around 1 in 4 people with eating disorders are men. And yet in 2023, their symptoms can still go unnoticed by those around them.

We’d sooner put the signs down to fussy eating, a busy schedule — even a cry for attention. Right? Not quite.

Just like Bruno, “we don’t talk about” eating disorders in men.

Just like the reboot of Cats, they can’t be brushed under the carpet (try as we might).

And just like The Da Vinci Code, they can be pretty hard to crack.

If the problem is to be addressed then it needs absolute honesty as to the causes of this problem. First and foremost is the criminal abuse and overuse of antibiotics by doctors. Whoever came up with the idea that anyone and everyone should be dosed up with antibiotics as prophylactics, has no comprehension of biological function and no ethics. The lunatic who decided that antibiotics should be given for every cough and sniffle should be struck off. Oh, sorry, that would be most doctors. What we need is more Homeopathic, Nutritional, Traditional medicine and less toxic drugs and antibiotics.

Good guidance shared here regarding defending ourselves from antibiotic resistance which is needed to stay healthy.
